NEW CHANGE TO CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS:
Effective immediately our credit card provider no longer allows for same day refunds. The best practice in the event a refund is needed is to void the transaction, simply drop down the arrow next to the payment transaction and select void:
This is only for credit cards, and for payments taken within the last 24 hours.
If a partial refund is required, this process voids the entire amount, so you will need to rebill the remaining balance. So in the example above, if I need to refund $100, I void the entire $254.40, then recharge $154.40. Let the customer know they might see multiple transactions on their statement, but their net payment will be correct. Feel free to send a final receipt from this menu after finalizing payment.
PROMO CODES
If you are searching for, and applying promo codes for the client, make sure you pull the current year code. For example 18MFP is still a valid promo, but the more recent code is MILTRY19. We are keeping older promo codes open for those clients who may have them already or have located them elsewhere.

Keep in mind that unless otherwise noted promo codes are not combinable. If you are in a situation where there is already a promo applied, and for some reason you need to offer an additional discount, look for a single promo code that will provide for the discount. For instance – if they have used MILTRY19 for 10% off, then for some reason an additional 10% off is required, simply remove MILTRY19 from the reservation and add 20OFF. It’s not exact, but it will enable you to accomplish a similar result.
PROMO CODE VS REFUND

If a partial refund is requested, the promo code is often the best choice. Once a promo code is applied, a credit will return to the reservation. Depending on when the payment was made, you will either refund the credit, or void the entire transaction and recharge the balance. If the client has gone through the entire course, and demands a refund, do not remove the tickets from the reservation. I have created a new enterprise promo, GUESTWOW that will take 100% off the reservation (tickets only). Simply apply, then refund the money or void the transaction. This will ensure our reporting and guest counts stay accurate.
